DELIVERY WAS FAST, THE OWNER I ASSUME WAS THE ONE THAT DELIVERED SUPER AWESOME GUY AND THE LADY THAT TOOK MY ORDER ON THE PHONE WAS A BEAUTY TOO, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING THE FISH AND CHIPS WERE SO GOOD! Love that they use halibut!!!! You can tell the difference!!!

Came here with my son. I haven't had such a pleasant experience in a long time. The staff were very sweet, we were served by Renee. The beer selection is great. We had the fish and chips and both parts were perfectly done. The decor is on point, the seating is comfortable, and we were lucky to show up on a live music night. We sat in a booth on the restaurant side (there is a side that faces the stage) and the volume of the band was just right. Highly highly recommend!

This is one of our favourite pubs in the whole region. Always friendly service, great atmosphere, local beers on tap, and real fresh food. When you get a side of vegetables here you can tell that they are fresh, not frozen. Today we had the chili which was just like mom used to make. The Old Familiar is always worth a stop when in Coldwater.

We had lunch here today, and I ordered the fish and chips, which is made with halibut. The waitress asked me if I wanted one or two pieces, and I said two because usually places give you small pieces. These were humongous, and I ended up taking one home. The fish was fresh and beautifully fried, and possibly some of the best fried halibut I’ve ever had. The fries were also good, and the coleslaw was vinegar based coleslaw, which I prefer. My friend had the nachos and enjoyed them. The service was excellent.

Wasn't fond of this place under the old ownership. Since the new owners have been there, the food is incredible and the service is beyond excellent. The Caesars were some of the best we've had (and we've had a few). Just a great experience.

She was amazing and a great hostess and server.We ordered our food and watched as they prepared our great lunch. Janice had the Reuben sandwich and I had the Beer battered fish and chips. We both substituted our regular fries for sweet potato fries.What an excellent lunch. Both were perfect and the service was amazing. Shelby was handling everything up front by herself. I came here for lunch and got a chicken Caesar wrap with fries. The food was fresh and the wrap was really good. The best one I’ve ever had. The fries tasted good but there were lots of little bits rather than proper fries. Otherwise everything else was great. Our server was friendly and helpful. Make sure to stop by if you’re in the area!
